Berners Schober is a premier architecture firm in Wisconsin that has a rich 130-year history in which they have built countless, timeless structures, but it’s their desire for constant innovation, coupled with their legacy that has kept them at the top of the class for over a century. In 2018 Berners Schober sought a new identity that both recognized their rich, enduring history and expressed their passion for creating the future. After an identity was created and chosen, Berners Schober sought a new website that reflected their refreshed brand. The website utilizes modular designs as a nod to the Berners Schober logo square which juxtaposes modern with a timeless color palette of black and white. The simple yet elegant layout and use of typography paired with crisp and lively imagery allows the work to do the talking. My contributions on the website included aiding in the creation of the strategy and site map, mood boarding, wireframing, collaborating with the copywriter, photo editing, designing page layouts, creating the working prototype and development kit for handoff to an external developer.
